The classic from 1968 has emerged in a tonal “American Beauty” color scheme courtesy of Rhuigi Villaseor. Inspired by the breakdancing era of the 1980s, the sneaker features flat, fat laces. High-quality suede lands across the upper, boasting the aforementioned pinkish hue. PUMA branding on the lateral side opts for a shimmering golden finish, while standard stripes favor a cream hue; the “Pristine” color also lands on the heel and sole unit. Traditional branding on the spines is replaced with “19” and “91,” although neither party involved has shared a backstory.
